The St. Lawrence Respect Life Ministry is committed to promoting the sanctity of human life, such that every person is cherished and protected, from conception until natural death.  We work to keep the larger community informed on the spectrum of pro-life issues, encourage parish-wide prayer, and sponsor a variety of projects throughout the year that spotlight the sacredness of each human person.  These include a Baby Bottle Campaign to support the Life Center of Long Island; bus transportation to, and parishioner participation in, the annual March for Life in Washington, D.C.; and "Baby Showers" to assist parents in need by collecting supplies for the Life Center.  To become involved, contact the rectory office. 

We also invite our parishioners and friends to participate in "40 Days for Life," a nationwide campaign to end the scourge of abortion.  You can engage in a whole spectrum of pro-life activities, from private prayer and fasting, to community outreach, to peaceful vigils outside a local abortion clinic.  40 Days for Life has already inspired over one million participants!    For more information on events in our immediate area, go to www.40daysforlife.com/patchogue   Learn more and get involved!

40 Days for Life's Waverly Avenue Witness Hours are currently the 2nd and 4th Monday and Saturday of the Month, except holidays, from 10 AM to 12 Noon. Rosary at 11 AM on the public sidewalk at 450 Waverly Avenue (rain or shine).  Join us!
