"ParishSOFT Giving" - Our Electronic Giving Option
When it comes to supporting St. Lawrence financially, any option you choose is deeply appreciated! But one of the best is electronic giving, and here at St. Lawrence we use a platform called "ParishSOFT Giving" (formerly Faith Direct).
But let's back up . . . what is electronic giving?
Electronic giving, or "e-giving" is increasingly popular in parishes today, and for good reason! It allows you to contribute to St. Lawrence on a steady, consistent basis without using the traditional envelope system, having to write checks, or look for cash for the collection basket. Apart from its ease of use for you, e-giving is a genuine help to the parish, because your donation comes to us directly from your credit card or bank account, regardless of bad weather, time away from home, illness, or seasons (like summer) when attendance can be light.
What are the advantages of ParishSOFT Giving?
1. Weekly Giving: If you select a weekly giving schedule, your gifts will be deducted each week instead of in one monthly batch.
2. More Flexibility: Adjust your giving schedule to any date that works for you—you're no longer restricted to only the 4th or 15th of the month.
3. More Ways to Give: Now you can donate using PayPal, Venmo, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.

You can sign up from your computer, smartphone or tablet, and set up either a recurring donation or a one-time gift. Did you know that St. Lawrence pays a small fee for all gifts made using credit cards and bank accounts?
ParishSOFT Giving offers a way for our families to give a little bit extra each month and help offset these processing costs. We ask you to prayerfully consider adding this 2.5% processing offset to your regular contribution, so that St. Lawrence can receive the full amount of your gift each month. If you manage your giving online, you can log into your ParishSOFT account and check the box on the page where you update your payment information.
