"Whatever you did for one of these least brothers of mine, you did for me.”

These familiar words spoken by our Lord are brought to life and put into action at our Parish Outreach Office.  Parish Outreach (aka, Parish Social Ministry) offers our less fortunate brothers and sisters not only the assistance they may be seeking, but also the gentleness, support and dignity they need to help them through difficult times.  Parish Outreach receives numerous calls every day for assistance with a myriad of challenging life situations.  The most common of all calls is for help with food, but we are not just a Food Pantry.  We offer assistance after an interview with the individual(s) to ascertain the situation at hand.  We then take steps to offer a helping hand in ways that can hopefully meet our clients’ current needs.  We make appropriate referrals to other resources for additional assistance, and guide the individual(s) according to their personal situation.  Our goal is to help all who call on us to regain a self-sustaining, self-sufficient lifestyle.

Our office hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 AM to 12 noon. If seeking assistance other than food, we suggest calling for an appointment with our Outreach Director, Lorraine Magyar, before coming into the office.
